Dr Ross Balson is an experienced gastroenterologist having trained at The Royal Melbourne and Western Hospitals in Melbourne and St Thomas’ hospital in London.
Ross worked at Box Hill hospital for 20 years and established the Hepatitis Clinic there.
His major interests include
- Advanced endoscopy including Endoscopic Ultrasound
- Bowel Cancer Screening (Ross is an approved colonoscopist for the National Bowel Cancer screening program).
- Pancreatic Disease
- Viral Hepatitis
Dr Alvin Chung is a gastroenterologist with GastroNorth and he consults at Manningham Specialist Centre. He has broad interests in gastroenterology and hepatology with a focus on inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), IBS, bowel cancer screening and liver diseases. His main research focus is in IBD and is involved with international multi-centre clinical drug trials in IBD. He is accredited to perform gastroscopy, colonoscopy and capsule endoscopy.
Dr. Ken Tan trained at the University of Adelaide in 1998 and obtained specialist training in gastroenterology and internal medicine at Wellington and Auckland hospitals in New Zealand 2009. He pursued endoscopy fellowship at the Western hospital, Melbourne where he gained expertise in advanced endoscopy procedures in 2010.
